You'll write coding problems, review AI-generated code for bugs and bad practices, and grade solutions the way a senior engineer would in a code review. This is some of the highest-paid freelance AI work out there for a reason. Common project types: prompt-and-solution authoring, side-by-side response comparison, and rubric-based code review across languages and stacks.

What you need

Real, hands-on professional software engineering experience and fluency in at least one major language (Python, JavaScript, Java, C++, Go, Rust, etc.). You should be comfortable explaining, in writing, exactly why code is right or wrong.

Nice to have

A CS degree, open-source contributions, or a GitHub portfolio you're proud of. Rare stacks (Rust, Swift, Kotlin, Solidity) unlock higher tiers.
