Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data HireFeed collects, why, and what you can do about it. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.
1. Who we are
HireFeed (https://hirefeed.co.in) is operated by QuikHire (quik-hire.com). We are the data controller for the information described here.
For any privacy question or request, contact info@quik-hire.com.
2. What we collect
| Data | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Email address | You subscribe to the newsletter | To send you the posts you asked for |
| Name, work email, company, role, hiring details and your message | You submit the contact form | To reply to your enquiry |
| Page visited, referring page, campaign tags (UTM), browser user-agent | Submitted alongside a form | So we know which page prompted you to write, and can answer in context |
| Usage analytics — pages viewed, scroll depth, clicks on job links, approximate location | Only if you accept analytics cookies | To understand which content is useful |
We do not ask for, and ask you not to send, sensitive information — identity documents, financial details, health or immigration status.
3. Legal basis
- Consent — newsletter signup and analytics cookies. You can withdraw at any time.
- Legitimate interests — responding to a business enquiry you sent us, and keeping the site secure.
4. Who else processes it
We keep the list of processors deliberately short:
- Google — form submissions are stored in Google Sheets via Google Apps Script; site analytics run on Google Analytics 4.
- Vercel — hosts the website and processes server logs.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with the job platforms discussed on this site. Where data is transferred outside your country, our providers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
5. Job listings are not ours
HireFeed does not host job listings. Links marked as jobs take you to joblet.ai, which is a separate service with its own privacy policy. Anything you enter there is governed by that policy, not this one.
6. How long we keep it
- Newsletter — until you unsubscribe.
- Contact enquiries — up to 24 months after our last exchange, then deleted.
- Analytics — per the retention set in Google Analytics, currently 14 months.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (UK/EU GDPR, India's DPDP Act 2023, California's CCPA/CPRA and similar laws), you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the data we hold about you;
- correct it if it is wrong;
- delete it;
- stop using it, or object to a particular use;
- withdraw consent you previously gave.
Email info@quik-hire.com and we will respond within 30 days. You will never be charged or treated differently for exercising a right. If you are unhappy with our response you may complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Cookies
The site sets a small number of cookies. Strictly necessary ones (your theme choice, whether you dismissed a banner, your cookie preference) are always on because the site cannot work without them. Analytics cookies load only after you accept them — until then Google Analytics is blocked by default via Google Consent Mode.
You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link, also available in the footer.
9. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
