Native British English speakers will listen to short recordings and judge whether the pronunciation, accent, fluency, tone, and overall speech patterns sound natural. They must identify inconsistencies or non-native elements and explain findings in clear, structured written feedback while following a consistent evaluation rubric. The source requires native-level British English, strong listening and analytical skills, attention to detail, and comfort working independently. Candidates must also complete the project’s screening test before taking on the remote audio-evaluation work.
Responsibilities
- Listen to and evaluate short British English audio recordings.
- Assess whether speech sounds natural and native to British English.
- Evaluate pronunciation, accent, fluency, tone, and natural speech patterns.
- Identify unnatural, inconsistent, or incorrect elements in spoken English.
- Provide clear and structured feedback on audio recordings.
- Follow project guidelines and maintain accuracy and consistency.
Requirements
- Native-level British English proficiency.
- Strong understanding of British English pronunciation, accents, and natural speech patterns.
- B2-level English proficiency or above.
- Excellent listening and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to provide clear written feedback.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Ability to successfully complete the required screening test.
