Electrical engineers will create technically sound single-answer questions, explanations, and scoring rubrics, then review AI-generated material for both accuracy and educational value. The role covers specialties such as analog and digital circuits, RF, and power electronics with an integrated-circuit focus. Applicants need a master’s or doctorate in electrical engineering or a related discipline. Experience creating assessments, teaching, tutoring, or designing instructional content is especially useful because the deliverables must be rigorous, unambiguous, and suitable for evaluating model performance.
Responsibilities
- Design and curate high-quality single-option (multiple-choice) questions within your area of electrical engineering specialization.
- Develop clear, concise explanations and detailed rubrics to accompany each question, ensuring alignment with best practices in instructional design.
- Review and validate the technical accuracy and pedagogical value of AI-generated content related to electrical engineering concepts.
- Collaborate asynchronously to refine question quality and uphold subject matter standards.
- Provide feedback on AI performance, offering actionable insights based on your domain expertise.
- Document and communicate technical concepts in both written and verbal formats for diverse audiences.
- Contribute to an evolving project workflow designed to optimize AI training data relevance and clarity.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Subject matter expertise in at least one of the following areas: Analog Circuits, Digital Circuits, RF, or Power Electronics with a focus on Integrated Circuits (IC).
- Proven experience with educational content creation, rubric design, or assessment development is strongly valued.
- Background in teaching, tutoring, or facilitating learning within electrical engineering is considered a significant plus.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with attention to clarity and instructional value.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and deliver high-quality contributions within project milestones.
- Comfort with collaborative, remote project participation and asynchronous communication tools.
