Physics Expert (PhD)

Physics PhDs will evaluate scientific data and scenarios, create and refine advanced problem sets, and check model outputs for technical accuracy. A major part of the work is translating difficult theoretical or applied physics into explanations that remain rigorous and accessible. The role calls for a doctorate in physics, broad grounding in advanced physical science, and experience producing or reviewing technical or educational materials. Contributors should also be able to document gaps in training data and recommend improvements while working with remote project stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate real-world physics data, concepts, and scenarios to enhance AI model training.
- Generate, review, and refine technical content and problem sets representing advanced physics subject matter.
- Provide expert scientific feedback on complex questions and model outputs to ensure technical accuracy and relevance.
- Translate intricate physics theories and phenomena into accessible explanations for AI interpretation.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to align deliverables with evolving project objectives.
- Participate in quality assurance of training data by identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
Requirements
- Doctorate (PhD) in Physics from an accredited institution.
- Extensive background in advanced physical sciences, with strong foundations in both theoretical and applied physics.
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex scientific topics clearly, both in writing and verbally.
- Experience developing or reviewing educational or technical materials in physics.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills relevant to scientific research.
- Adaptability to evolving project requirements and a proactive approach to new challenges.
- Interest or familiarity with AI, data science, or digital training environments is a plus, but not required.
